Liquor Licence Board of Ontario established under the Liquor Licence Act to regulate beverage alcohol

OPSEU Founded

Ontario Public Service Employees Union established to represent public sector workers

Gaming Control Commission

Gaming Control Commission established to regulate charitable and casino gaming in Ontario

AGCO Established

Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario created, combining Liquor Licence Board and Gaming Control Commission

Horse Racing Added

AGCO assumed responsibility for regulating horse racing under the Horse Racing Licence Act

Cannabis Regulation

AGCO began regulating privately run recreational cannabis retail stores across Ontario
